Rated R already debunked that idea. Originally her team sent her a bunch of songs continuing in the sound of GGGB. She's the one who said no which changed the direction of the album. If she had no say they would have easily made her record those pop songs.

The difference between 2006 & now is that she does what she wants now. Back then she had to do everything according to her label where as now she is in charge. BAck then she had to portray the typical good girl and as soon as she took control of her image didn't that change. Do you honestly think her label would've approved of her going back to chris brown let alone collaborate with him? Do you think her label is here for her dragging people for filth on instagram & twitter. Rihanna is a PR nightmare, purely because she does not give a **** and does what she wants. How thats not clear to you is beyond me, so you're either blinded by hate or delusional.
Umm.
- She doesn't live up to my vocal standarts
- She isn't involved in the creation process of her music. Everytime it feels like she just gives her voice whatever is handed to her.
- Her performance skills are horrendous. Even when she uses sexual elements, it's not interesting.
- Her fake 'I'm the baddest bitch' attitude is a turn-off. She can be whoever she is for a damn second.
- She doesn't have one moment in music that I can go bizarre for like Britney's Slave performance etc.

No i go with the mainly positive reviews of her diamonds tour, Rolling Stone saying her performance was the best at the AMAs & all her live performances on YouTube having more likes than dislikes. Looks like you're in the minority.
