While all that may be true, and I love Ke$ha but I'm being realistic here, she's lost A LOT of hype she had back then, if her next era is successful then I'll put her back in the major pop girl league, but right now I see her as B list.

Animals let us not forget that the GP, for the most part, still regards Ke$ha as a drunken party girl who makes fun party songs. Please take this into consideration when arguing about Ke$ha's cultural impact, of which she has little to none other than "getting the party started many a time".

I love her to death but due to certain people (I'm looking at you Luke), the public's perception of her is far from us Animals' or even casual ATRL users who aren't really fans but still are aware that there's more to Ke$ha than the surface stuff her singles showcase.

She isn't though. She's no Katy, Bey, Taylor or Rihanna. Nobody is saying their can only be three but when one is leagues behind the others you can't say she's main like them. The only thing she ever had going for her was the singles, and she's even fallen behind on that level now.

She's not because she doesn't sell albums and even with a huge hit like Tik Tok and having her first 7 singles hitting the top 10, her albums' sales are lacking.

I do feel like this point is often forgotten by most Animals. I don't think the GP takes her very seriously, which I think may very well be a large part of what caused her downfall. Her cultural impact in the GP's eyes is probably nothing more than being the bellwether of the current oversaturation of hedonistic party anthems, and is probably not widely appreciated by much of the GP.

Um, no. Pitbull and Flo Rida are singles artists and that is the type of artist that they want to be. They rely on having featured vocalists to assist their somewhat basic radio raps with catchy productions. They don't make albums for album sales, each and every one is basically a greatest hits compilation. Flo Rida's latest album had 9 tracks and 6 singles. Pitbull just released a single from a new EP and he's already onto the next single from another project.

Ke$ha makes albums and her debut did considerably well. Yes she had a flop era but that doesn't take away from her artistic integrity. I'm sure you've heard about the issues with Dr. Luke? Ke$ha doesn't want half of the songs that are released as singles to be released, and she has plenty of singles in mind that never get released or in some cases make an album. Ke$ha's in an unfortunate situation and as such it's unjust to compare her to the likes of Flo Rida or Pitbull.

Not even shading, but the GP doesn't regard her as anything because they don't even know who she is. She hasn't made any impact as a well-known personality. I'm not sure why tbh. She is surely more personable and well-spoken than some of these other popular girls...
