Don't talk to me about that, I use to be shady years ago from bitterness because it hurts that my fave never got to reach her potential with every single thing she did, the awareness became higher and the quality of what she was doing was also. She was definitely ascending to something so so great.
However Beyonce is majorly talented, more vocally capable than Aaliyah (I do find Aaliyah's ethereal vocals more enjoyable but thats personal preference she also did have quite a lot of power and range) so nothing was going to change B's fate and I have bought YONCE'S album and have been playing ever since.
I honestly think Aaliyah would have become more of a serious actress with her output in films being greater than her music releases and gotten into endorsements etc, definitely an all round entertainer
