The best song of this era. Try isn't just a song, it's a lifestyle. () It's a motto to live by, and once you apply the message of this song to your life you'll realize that. We all go through **** because we want something, and that **** will affect us so negatively but it doesn't mean the end of the world, you gotta get up and try, try, try, and try some more until the world realizes you're a boss a$$ bitch who's not to **** with.

Phillip Phillips. I love him so much, finally a worthy American Idol winner who's also successful, when will your fave have a 4x platinum debut single from a talent show? Ironically, I HATED Home Gone, Gone, Gone is just so damn beautiful. It's the type of song to make you feel nostalgic on first listen. Excuse me while I cry.

An EDM song to me gets so repetitve and boring to me after a few listens, but not this time. Clarity is grammy-worthy (it's also nominated this year ) generally, most EDM you hear on radio right now doesn't require skill, it's so generic and just basic. But Clarity EDM is an amazing genre of music; it's art. Blend electronic music with flawless vocals from Foxes and you get a legendary song.

Welp. I know y'all are thinking I just lost any credibility I had after placing this so high. It's my guilty pleasure, don't judge me. The lyrics are basic as **** and there are absolutely no vocal talents involved within the track. Yet, I just love it so much. The choreography SLAYS though, and she looks so gorgeous in the video! But yeah, you want to know who I placed #1? You better wait bitch!

We started with Miss Lovato, and we're closing with her too.
EASILY Song of the Year, let me explain why: first and foremost, the vocals. The damn vocals. She hits an extremely high note during the bridge and she does super hard belting throughout the song. The chorus is such a vocal-requiring part, imagine doing it live. but she slays it so EFFORTLESSLY. The raw vocals and guitar in the bridge is perfect. Oh, the instrumental of this song is just as good, the bass is amazing. The only downside to the song are the lyrics on the first verse. The video is kinda basic but the idea is cool.
