"Figure 8"
Ellie Goulding
Halcyon
"I need you more than I can take, you promise forever and a day and then you take it all away..."
Ellie became this year one of my favorite artists. I liked “Lights” (the album, not the song), but not enough to love her. Figure 8 is amazing, and different from what I’m always listening. And thanks to this song, I also started to like the album and lead single “Anything Could Happen”. This is the first of two appearances by her as main artist.

"A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)"
Fergie, Q-Tip & GoonRock
The Great Gatsby (Music from Baz Luhrmann's Film)
"Make up your mind, sweet baby, right here, right now’s all we got..."
Great song that makes me wanna dance everytime I listen, even when I’m alone at home.

"I Need Your Love"
Calvin Harris featuring Ellie Goulding
18 Months
"I need your love, I need your time, when everything's wrong you make it right..."
Ellie, again. But this time, with Calvin Harris. It took months to love this song, but then it finally happened. Again, better late than never.

"Show das Poderosas"
Anitta
Anitta
"Solta o som, que é pra me ver dançando, até você vai ficar babando..."
I used to hate this song, but it was overplayed in Brazil, and that's the reason why I started to love it. Catchy lyrics with a dance rhythm, it was impossible to not listen to it. Check this song and you’ll get addicted instantly. This is the last appearance by a song in non-English language (the other one was Carla Bruni’s “Chez Keith Et Anita”).

"Damage"
Jimmy Eat World
Damage
" Are we only damaging the little we have left? Both of us swimming in the same polluted mess..."
Jimmy Eat World, I’m glad that you are back. This is the first time I love a song from them since “Dizzy”, from “Chase This Light”.
