What is this special project called You’re Always Here?

You’re Always Here is a new stand alone song in remembrance of Ashley’s late grandfather. Ashley is sharing with her fans something that is very personal to her. The song “You’re Always Here” will be available next Monday, December 16th on iTunes. A portion of proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

It would benefit her to not go all generic and basic just to appeal to the GP.
You can always appeal to GP if it's genuine enough - look at Royals & Say Something. Both relatable, relevant in todays age, and true.

This song isn't really going anywhere I bet though. IAIO charted at #99... I don't think she has enough power to touch the top 10 of iTunes even. And if she smashes, she won't release anything after it regarless, since it's not related to the album.

But let's hope the queen smashes.

Also it's holiday season so something slow and touching can be good too. And this is a song dedicated to her grandfather so I'm sure she does not care about its charing as much as the meaning delivered.
