What it's basically saying is that there are more popular searches for just 'timber + kesha' then just 'timber + pitbull'. So it does make sense. And even when just searching 'timber' by itself, people care about Pitbull just as much as they do Ke$ha.

It's catchy, it's a fresh sound (somewhat), Ke$ha hasn't been out in awhile (speaking in terms of an entertainment industry timeline) so the GP is glad to hear her again, etc. It's a well-deserved smash and I'm glad it's seeing success.

A combination of the first three.
As much as everyone loves to deny it Pitbull has (for some weird reason) quite a large fanbase. Ke$ha herself also has a really strong fanbase. But this still could of easily flopped.
The song screams hit, its Fresh, catchy as **** and just a really well made pop/dance track. People i know who hate both of them love this song.
