That's amazing. Maroon 5, who had a #1 single, got that. Avril Lavigne, who had a #1 single, couldn't even break 300k. Kelly had a moderate success for a first single and is still selling that much. That shows something.

though many people will buy Hannah Montana cause it came frokm disney and disney has a lot of fans...plus Miley's debut album is included in the 2 disc album...
I'll tell you who SHOULD be #01 next week...KELLY CLARKSON, however Hannah Montana is gonna make a big push! - _ - I don't see why she's releasing a CD sooo soon when her album is still Top 50 and it's gonna come in direct competition with High School Musical in about a month. - _ - Kelly should have gotten #01 with "Breakaway," so this would only be fitting. ;p

DUELING DIVAS: As we head into the pre-Fourth of July weekend, Disney’s Hannah Montana and RCA’s Kelly Clarkson continue to battle for the top spot, with conventional wisdom giving Hannah the edge thanks to soccer mom foot traffic, with between 330-340k, compared to the former Idol winner’s estimate of 315-320k. But don’t bet the house, folks, because it could change. Last week’s #1, Island’s Bon Jovi is behind those two, with around 125-130k, followed by WB’s White Stripes (80-85k), Universal Republic’s Amy Winehouse (65-70k), Hear Music/Concord’s Paul McCartney, WB’s Linkin Park and A&M/Octone’s Maroon 5 (60-65k), with SBMG Nashville’s Toby Keith (55-60k) rounding out the Top 10. Omg, it would be a sad, sad world if "Hannah Montana" beats Kelly Clarkson in its first week sales. Americans are known to have horrible music taste anyway. Who in the hell got "This is why I'm hot" to #1 on the billboard charts? What's wrong with people?!
Judging from iTunes alone, Kelly Clarkson is winning by a lot. So I say Kelly will get the #1 spot next week.
