True but... it's not shade (not that it was intended as such). I don't see anything wrong with moving 10's of millions of singles (if you are KP, doing it like 5x w/ one album), and then having a strong tour showing as result.

Imo, for a popstar with a shelf-life, singles oriented marketing is the way to go. Especially since the women mentioned, all tend move platinum album units anyway... worldwide. Who cares how long it takes....

I didn't say it did. I just said that they have albums that have outsold their peers (who open with bigger first-week sales on-average) last albums.

How is P!nk a single oriented artist when her sales are weak first weak but a major success in the long run? And this counts for both her albums and singles.

I agree with Rihanna and Katy, though. Their single sales don't catch up to their album sales.

It just seems like they have an ear for hits and their contemporaries don't. The other girls dropped 5 singles minimum to keep their eras afloat and most of the songs flopped.

Went for her roots

On pink, I think they mean that P!nk uses her singles for relevancy since she is not as much of celebrity as the other of the pop gurls even though she has amazing album sales. No shade when i say this but Pink is too busy touring or being a mother to attend events or do proper promo so her singles are her way to tell the GP she still exists

I didn't say it did. I just said that they have albums that have outsold their peers (who open with bigger first-week sales on-average) last albums.

Perhaps that exception circle is a little wider, non? Or is it that Adele classifies as pop peer in Navy world but Taylor does not?
