That's true. I remember watching some show where a group was traveling over there and a girl in the group was wearing shorts -- she was heavily advised against that due to the potential response as they walked the streets, but, her attitude was, "I'm an American, I don't care what their customs are; I'm going to wear what I want," and she took her ass out the streets in those lil' shorts anyway, and ended up getting cursed at and rocks thrown at her and had to go back to the hotel and change.
It is very different going in with the intent to show respect than to use someone's culture as a prop from afar.
Anyway, Rihanna looks lovely. It's amazing how her random Instagram shots can look so editorial. The camera loves that girl.
