Elton knows for a fact that Gaga mixes hardcore songs and simple songs on her albums. He really can't be expecting her to stick to simple songs the music he's criticising is what put her on the map. Didn't he hear I Wanna Be With You?
That's nice but didn't he say BTW was better than I WIll Survive? He was one of her yes men at that crucial point in her career. Now that her career is basically over it's easy to look back and give "constructive criticism" over what went wrong.
That sounds exactly like you. Elton's just a bit skinnier.
I really don't understand why you would tell someone who's a multi-instrumentalist (and extremely adept at that piano as well) to sing over a drum machine but okay, Sir Elton.

what kind of psychic?? This is exactly what i think of gaga right now. no shade!
"With Gaga -.there are times when you have to listen. When your persona begins to take over your music and becomes more important, you enter a dangerous place. Once you have people around you who don't question you, you're in a dangerous place."
Eh, Gaga really seems to know what she's doing. Elton could use a leash himself.
What people don't really understand about her is that Gaga HAS to be her own person. She exists as an individual whose career is completely self-designed and self-projected. It's all a game for her. She's just not really winning as much right now lol.

How can her career be basically over if her song Applause is sitting at #5 on iTunes for like a month now?
I do agree a little bit with him, but isn't Gaga creating a jazz album later this year? But yes Gaga should always keep a few tracks like Summerboy and Brown Eyes on an album in my opinion. Those just show who Gaga is.
