I love my male artists! When it comes to pop music, I like more females than males because the best pop stars just happen to be female (although Bruno is better than most). This forum is mostly about Top 40 musicians and female pop singers have the biggest impact as of now. But when it comes down to it, I like male artists more than female. For rock, hip hop, electro music, all my faves are male. I can't speak for the rest of everyone on here, but I like to think it!s because they also feel the best pop makers are girls. Not sure if they are fans of males when it comes to other genres though, where guys often dominate.

This is very true too. Songs like "Airplanes" by B.o.B and "We Found Love" by Rihanna are pretty generic, yet they SLAY me in every way I would never go out and critically acclaim them, but I will bop
I don't think they do. I would assume the vast majority of people on this forum listen to male vocalists frequently. It's just there is not much "pop culture" things to discuss with the men. Pop girls have their fashion themes, their makeup, their style and other interesting things to discuss.
It used to be quite apparent, but recently there hasn't really been much hate on male artists. Eminem, Justin Timberlake, Bruno Mars, Usher, Gotye, Kanye West, JAY-Z, Drake, and Robin Thicke among other popular male artists have been well-received by most sistrens here.
Of course, that's not to say that people who hate on male artists because they only want the "divas" on the spotlight don't exist, but it's really not that bad.
I'm just being honest. All the pop girls are generic. Generic and pop about go hand in hand. Doesn't mean I don't love 'em.
I would never go out and critically acclaim them, but I will bop 
OneDirection, Bruno, JT, etc. are all treated well..!
