Don't choke on your **** too much now, teeny-bopper.
And Bart's not racist; he's effin' Goofy.
^___^! And P!nk should be higher.

LMAO Thanks? Also get out of my thread.
Okay people, the time has come! We enter the top 40 now. Prepare to be AMAZED.
40. My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade
When I was ... a young boy .. my father
took me into the city ... to join the marching band
Completely and unapologetically bombastic. Unlike most of the peers (HELLO BRANDON FLOWERS), though, these boys know how to pull off bombast properly? Which is so surprsing, because they're from New Jersey.
39. Gwen Stefani - Wind It Up
I know he thinks you're fine and stuff
But does he know how to wind you up?
Perhaps the most misunderstood track of the year. Complaints range from lack of melody (it's not supposed to have one? It's a club banger) to not being clubby enough (come on, it makes you groove to the Sound of Music!) to being gibberish (again, duh?) All the complaints seem to make the songs strengths stand out even more, though.
38. Mary J. Blige - Enough Cryin'/Jamelia - Something About You
Rewind that!/
I hope to God you feel the way I feel
'Cause this could be amazing
Something so super real
Yes, another tie. BITE ME??!?!? Separately, these songs might not be enough for a Top 40 placing, but together - they perfectly describe the rise and fall of love. And both should've been HUGE?
37. Silversun Pickup - Lazy Eye
i've been waiting
i've been waiting for this moment...
If this was a movie, it would be the best movie of the year. It has it all: a subtle first act that manages to grab one instantly and a second act that features a truly shocking climax. It would be in the third act that the genius of the picture comes out - there really is not anti-climax, no denouement. The screaming stops but the intensity goes away. The film (go with me here) does away with all modern conventions of structure and looks at the subject (a lover quarrel? a rainy, sleepy night? Who knows or cares?) through an auteur's eyes, determined to tell its story in its own way. Those dueling guitars that come out of nowhere, for instance, could be a woman and man discussing life, love or something else. The film doesn't end with a bang, nor a whisper, but with a truly fitting conclusion. Alas, it's not a film - just an amazing song.
36. All Saints - Rocksteady
Tell me why we act so stupid, the games we're playing (oooh)
If life is the rule then we're heading towards the same thing
You are not worthless with love instead of the fighting (oooh)
Let's get together forever with no more hiding
Say what you will about the flop album, but this single showed that the Saints still had it (at least, somewhat) It's no Pure Shores (but what is?) but it works as a comeback single and as a song of today's times. Bravo!
35. Ciara - Promise
Now listen
I've been single for a while now
And I've been kind of lonely
But I'm looking for somebody to talk to,
Love me, someone who can hold me,
Is that you?
When Goodies came out, it seemed obvious that Ciara was supposed to be the next Aaliyah meets Janet - without everything that made those two special. In place of their strengths, Cici gave us awkwardness - a true lack of grace. What a difference two years make. With Promise, Ciara is reborn - fully grown into her femininity. While her contemporaries are too busy sampling 70s soul and placing horrible lyrics over them, Ciara released a sexy yet soulful mid-tempo groove, with obvious allusions to Prince at his prime. Go on girl!
34. Lily Allen - LDN
Sun is in the sky oh why oh why?
Would I wanna be anywhere else
Sun is in the sky oh why oh why?
Would I wanna be anywhere else
Oh Lily, sweet Lily. This song means a lot for someone born and raised in a ghetto. First of two tracks by her on my list!
33. The Veronicas - Everything I'm Not
now wait a minute,
because of you,
i never knew all the things that I had
hey don't you get it?
i'm not goin anywhere with you tonight
cause this is my life
Moments like this make me want to construct a pledge in Max Martin's honor. This melancholy is pretty pefect - but there's another MM masterpiece coming up!
32. TV on the Radio - Wolf Like Me
There are no lyrics for this song, because any lyrical snapshot would look deliriously out of place. They don't even make much sense within the context of the song - but that doesn't matter? Everyone really just has to go along for the ride.
31. Jenny Lewis and the Watson Twins - Rise Up with Fists
What am I fighting for?
The cops are at the front door
I can't escape that way, the windows are in flames
And what's that on your ankle?
You say they're not coming for you
But house arrest is really just the same
It was clear to all with eyes (NOT YOU BEN) that Jenny Lewis would produce something really special for her solo CD. Everyone expected her first single to sound like this, but I don't think people expected it to be this good. The most amazing thing about this song are the vocals, with Lewis and friends pointing out the hyprocracies of others with real empathy and grace. All of her indie-pop peers could learn a thing or two from here.

And now, the five most awesomely bad songs of the year!
AWESOMELY BAD
5. Vanessa Hudges - Come Back to Me
Her performance of this on GMA was one of the worst things I've ever seen. LMAO it's so bad?!?! I LOVE IT.
4. The majority of Bad Boy's single releases
It's Goin' Down? LFR check
Show Stopperz (a.k.a me and Ed's SONG)? CHECK
Both of "Diddy's" singles this year? CHECK CHECK CHECK
LONG WAY 2 GO!??!!??!!?!? CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK CHECK!K!K!K
But they're all so bad they good? Let's quote some lyrics to illuminate their "so bad they're goodness."
We sittin' on 22s plus 2
mink bucket seats, neon blue
Color coordinate with dem shoes
Yeah, we divas
But we ride like big boys do
I don't want your innocence
I don't want you to stutter
I don't want a commitment
I don't want you to suffer
I don't want your number
Baby, I want you to wonder
I want you to come up
Looking like something you wanna LMAO WHAT?
I love it when they try to get scandalous
Even though they know they really can't handle it
(They can't handle it?) They can't handle it
Try and take me out to dinner, I cancel it
3.Dannii Minogue - So Under Pressure
I love how this was the song she wrote in response to her sister's cancer. LMAO THE VIDEO. Was the snake supposed to symbolize the dreaded disease, or was that just some tragic phallic symbol? DANNII DON'T EVER CHANGE.
2. Fergie - Fergalicious
[Will I Am]
Listen up ya'll, Cuz this is it
The beat that I'm bangin' is de-li-cious
[Fergie]
Fergalicious definition make them boys go loco
They want my treasure so they get their pleasures from my photo
You could see me, you can't squeeze me
I ain't easy, I ain't sleazy
I got reasons why I tease 'em
Boys just come and go like seasons
[Hook]
Fergalicious(so delicious)
But I ain't promiscuous
And if you was suspicious
All that **** is fictitious
I blow kisses (mmmwwahhh)
That puts them boys on rock, rock
And they be lining down the block just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)
[Chorus]
So delicious (It's hot, hot)
So delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
So delicious (they wanna taste of what I got)
I'm Fergalicious (t-t-t-t-t-tasty, tasty)
[Verse 2]
Fergalicious def-, Fergalicious def-, Fergalicious def- [def fading echo]
Fergalicious definition make them boys go crazy
They always claim they know me
Comin' to me call me Stacy (Hey Stacy)
I'm the F to the E, R, G the I the E
And can't no other lady put it down like me
[Hook]
I'm Fergalicious (so delicious)
My body stay vicious
I be up in the gym just working on my fitness
He's my witness (oooh wee)
I put yo' boy on rock rock
And he be lining down the block just to watch what I got (four, tres, two, uno)
[Chorus]
So delicious (It's hot, hot)
So delicious (I put them boys on rock, rock)
So delicious (they wanna taste of what I got)
I'm Fergalicious (hold hold hold hold hold up, check it out)
[Vamp]
Baby, baby, baby
If you really want me
Honey get some patience
Maybe then you'll get a taste
I'll be tasty, tasty, I'll be laced with lacey
It's so tasty, tasty, It'll make you crazy
[Will I Am]

to the D to the E to the L I C I O U S,
to the D to the E to the, to the, to the, to the, to the (four, tres, two, uno)
Enough said? Also, any song that samples Supersonic cannot be all bad.
1. The entire oeuvres of The Pussycat Dolls and Panic! At the Disco
LMAO these two "musical acts" have no talent whatsoever. Not only that, but they've both released some legitimately bad **** (LMAO BEEP?!?!?! ED?!?!?) BUT I LOVE IT. I HATE IT, BUT I LOVE IT. Buttons? I Don't Need a Man? Wait a Minute? P!*seriously, exclamation points in the middle of a band's name? WTF* ATD's long ass titles? Keep bringing the crap girls, guys and gays.

I absolutely disagree with Vanessa but I agree with the Bad Boy and Fergie appearances. Man, Fergalicious is SO dreadful....yet it's a big hit because it's supposedly catchy!?!?

Have y'all noticed that two major female artists have not made appearances yet? They'll be debuting on my chart TONIGHT. Any guesses as to whom I'm talking about?
