It is right but it only tells one side of the story. Why not saying why are they judgmental? Then a whole new population would come to take the responsibility.
White people are more judgmental. Look at history and get back to me. Not to mention the fact, that black people are the most judged and stereotyped people in the world.
He should have worded it better cause it can be taken the wrong way. If meant in the community then he does have a point and its true we judge each other. But the black community is not the only one out there with their sets of problems.
It can be true that those who are discriminated against sometimes become judgemental as a defense mechanism or in order to boost self-esteem, but of course he can't generalise and suggest this is true of the entire black community.
But I've noticed that it is ALWAYS black men like this who can never been seen dating a black woman that are so quick to call out black people for hating themselves.
I do like Miguel, good sis, but just because I like someone it doesn't mean that I have to agree with their comments.
No one said that you have to agree with what he said. There's no need for the passive-aggressive comments that you always spew for no reason at all.

True tea. They choose everything but a black woman to date, but want to make statements like these. How ironic.
Everyone is judgemental regardless of colour, gender, sexuality etc. We will always do it no matter what, no point picking on specific people for it when it's universal.

basically, everyone is judgmental towards the black community, including the black community. and it shouldn't be that way. Like he said, recognizing the problem is the first step
You mean like how black people BOYCOTTED and BANNED Dixie Chicks off Country Radio when they were the largest country act and at the peak of their career?? Oh.
