I don't think so. Germany and Portugal (specially Germany) are the ones who deserve the most to win, they're playing with their lives. But I think Italy will beat Germany in the semi-finals, and hope Scolari will send France home.

Italy doesn't deserve to win because they only got so far with the help of that last second penalty against Australia, and to be honest, Ukraine really wasn't never a threat. Portugal's team consists of bunch of actors, so they don't deserve it either. So, Germany & France should be in the finals. Whoever wins, wins.

Italy would have won however against Australia. A our player had been expelled without reason, we deserved to win. Our game was better than that Australian.
Now, I hope in a beautiful match: Italy-Germany, and a finals against Portugal or France. We must be revenged of the French!

My favourite is Portugal, but Italy is in a hiatus of World Cups since 1982, which makes it 24 years - just like when Brazil won in 1994. Maybe Italy will repeat it now.

Zidane was the star of the match and henrey wasn't that good either ,though he's the one who made the goal.

Where is this pool? Well deserverd though. Many brazilians are blaming only the coach Parreira, but to me Ronaldinho Gaúcho is the one to be blamed for the ridiculous Brazil's campaign in Germany. The only "so-so" match for him was against Japan.
Parreira is known for being defensive and extremely stubborn, but specially on the last match (against France) he changed his whole tactical project to benetif Ronaldinho, and even that way he was unable of showing the football that made him the best player in the World for the last 2 consecutive years.
To be honest, I'm still shocked with how pathetic the brazilian players were last saturday; they were just watching France plays. I feel very sorry for people like Cicinho, Robinho and Adriano, who entered in the game like 15 minutes before the end, but we could see they were fighting, desperately trying to save the team. Oh well, what a shame - this is really a World Cup to forget.

I agree with you on every word. I've seen that poll on T.V and it was voted by football coaches and professionals around the world.

For France and Portgual... It's very hard to say. If Zidane plays again the way he played against Brazil, no doubt France would go to the final. But he won't. Simply because I doubt he'll be able to do that again (although the fact he's a great player), and also because Felipão and his players won't let him do that. So, I guess we'll see Italy X Portugal on Sunday.
