My English teacher would always talk about her dead twin brother, and about how even though he is gone, she still feels his presence every day, and how she felt guilty about not learning of his depression sooner, and that his spirit is punishing her for the last 17 years. Then she would leave the room to finish crying in the washroom.
One day this kid in the class was messing around, and she told him to finish his work or get sent down to the principal's office. He then said, "Now I know why your brother killed himself. He can't stand to be around your annoying ass any more. You are the source of everyone's problems". She lost it and had an emotional meltdown in front of the whole class. The kid got suspended for a week, my teacher took a leave of absence for a month because she went to the hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, and retired at the end of the school year.
