The industry doesn't NEED him, but people WANT him to comeback...
Once his single and album will be out his fans will buy his stuffs and others will still buy it via mediafire.com, we are not in 2006 anymore, people don't buy music anymore like they used to.
His Pop music was sexy, romantic, fun, and very well executed. Most male music today is just fluff and cheese, it just makes you go eh. Justin Bieber, 1D, and Bruno Mars essentially make the same type of "fluffy" music, you know what I'm talking about. That sensitive woe is me I wear my heart on my sleeve music.
None of them really brought that sexy back () to any of their music.
What's funny is when a lot of you realize there is still a large want for his music and it smashes someone will bump this thread
He is talented, he can dance, his music is good... There hasn't been anyone to really fill his shoes since he's been gone, in that aspect "anymore" doesn't fit.
I have trouble seeing where he will fit in.
I mean teens use 1D and Justin Bieber.
People interested in a more "grown up" sound will likely use Bruno or Usher as a male artist.
It'll depend on his music.
I think if he will try to make music like 1D he will failI'm sure.
With a more grown upsound he will most likely do decently.
He won't be needed like Adele or Taylor to pull in the big sales but I see him having success.
Thinking on the general public: yes, cause these little boys out there are REALLY pretending they are doing quality pop music when it's all trashy and generic.
