I think it was more embarrassing for P!nk to have her just lull 4 years years into her career . She was able to recover though, so I don't think you can write her off yet. Unless you wrote off P!nk at the time too

Only just having a lull now? Honey she's been having a lull since like, 2007 LOL. At least when Pink went through a bad phase she managed to still sell three million copies of her album

Back To Basics era was definitely not a lull. And Keeps Getting Better went Top 10 the following year. Nobody was criticizing her success until Bionic.
As for Pinks 3 million, obviously we're talking about the USA here and not countries like Australia

What do her family and child have to do with this? So you're saying P!nk purposely goes for more commercial music than she would organically to be financially secure for her family?

Pink said that she was unhappy with the way the label wanted her to make an album after the success of M!ssundaztood. "I was kind of rebelling against the label on that one," she said. "I was going: 'You want a record? Fine, I'll write 10 songs in a week for your ****in' record and you can press it up and put it out." She described the promotional campaign for the album as "an awful time. I was walking out of half my interviews crying."
And Try This is an amazing album!!!
I'm not dead is P!nk's best album to date. I mean, Who Knew only ***** on careers. And that's P!nk's signature album imo. Lyrically, vocally, musically...Ask almost every P!nk fan!

Christina --------->
Christina will go down as an Icon..pink does have longevity but she has never slayed as hard as Christina. X-tina has had a bigger impact in Pop culture compared to pink.

Try This:
Australia - 2 x Platinum
Austria - Platinum
Canada - Platinum
Germany - 3 x Gold
France - Gold
Norway - Gold
Russia - Gold
Switzerland - Platinum
UK - Platinum
US - Platinum
And we are not talking about the USA here, we're talking about WW success
You tried though as you always do.

They may have rushed her, but that album was in line with P!nk's true rock nature. Hasn't she said how proud she is of her Female Rock Grammy?
I agree Try This is a good album
So how do you go from that to something like that to I'm Not Dead Sorry but I think its a huge step backwards. It's like all the progress she made with Miss and Try This was wiped out in one fell swoop

P!nk wasn't even popular in Australia during Try This era. Try This is 2x Platinum in Australia only because of the success of her following albums and tours.

We are talking about the USA though lol. Most of the arguments in this thread even before I came in relate to her USA success and lack of visibility. Obviously, people are not talking about Australia lol
And Try This happened in 2003. Back then, even flops by major artists went Platinum. Look at Janet Jackson's flop album at the time and Charmbracelet. And back then standards were so high that Platinum was seen as a major flop, whereas today it's celebrated as a major success

You have different taste and that's completely normal.
I love P!nk more during IND era, than during Try This era. And most of her fans do.

Gurll, ever heard of alphabetical order?
Aguilera, Kim, Mya, Pink

Do you really think Christina would have been credited last though if her last name was Zaguilera instead? Christina was definitely the biggest, followed by Lil Kim. Mya wasn't exactly big but she stood more in her field (R&B) than P!nk in the pop field. And then of course at the time they were trying to make P!nk R&B, but then she wasn't black, so she didn't have enough cred to get urban support so she got lost in the mix

But now she's bigger than all of them, so lets not dwell on the past any longer

Yes, it was a collaboration with equal billing even if you like it or not. And by your logic Missy calls out Christina, Pink, Lil'Kim and Mya in this order.
If one of them was the star and the others were useless addition, it'd have been named like
Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger (feat. Christina Aguilera) spesifically mentioning song BELONGS to someone

But you laughed off Pink's 3 Million saying Australia when only 140K comes from Australia...what kind of failed logic?

What does Missy's callout have to do with this? In no way was Pink bigger than Lil Kim.
Moves Like Jagger is a song belonging to a Maroon 5 project. Obviously they will be first lol
And usually when you have these kinds of things that don't belong to a project, they do not go by alphabetical order. They go by who's more prominent
Why do you think there was such a hassle over who got credited first on When You Believe?

LOL Talk about failed logic, look at yourself. You don't even have any logic here. Even if you feel the stats are wrong, that is not an issue of logic.
First off, I didn't say the 3 million came from Australia
As for Pinks 3 million, obviously we're talking about the USA here and not countries like Australia
Note the usage of "countries". Not "country". I don't know how good your grammar is, but in case you didn't know, now you do
My point is it doesn't matter how much she sold in other countries. I don't know, and I'm not interested since it's irrelevant to the way the discussion was flowing (About how she was in the USA)
