well actually that particular performance did get her a top 20 single thank u very much. Do u really wanna brag about chart success though? I mean did Britney no what it was like to have more than 2 top 10 singles on one album pre-FF era ? And Bey doesnt need a frontloaded no1 debut only to slide down the charts embarrassingly in subsequent weeks. She climbs to no1 to stay there for like 8, 9, 10 weeks. Feel we ?
That's subjective. Both of their solo careers were frontloaded and at their respective peaks Britney was much bigger. Beyoncé can never, will never and has never been as big as Britney at her peak.
In retrospect, Beyoncé has acclaim on her side, but that's always just another opinion. Sales > Grammys. If the Grammys were relevant, they would reflect sales and what the people liked. Not just what a bunch of people who work in the industry think of their own music.
No it's not subjective; I said statistically meaning airplay, singles sales (incl ringtones), album sales, award count, chart run and certifications.
