Considering Beyonce and the other children of Destiny were opening for Britney on tour at one point, I would guess that Britney had influence and impact on their careers too.



In pop music, everything traces back to Britney. You can't say that for any other relevant artist at this moment. Not even for Lady GaGa, who is still years away from being on Britney's level.

DEATH @ Rita and Azealia, if I was to name all the flops Britney's influenced we'd be here all day.

Meanwhile, Britney's influenced the biggest popstar to emerge since her debut and the biggest new artist of 2012. Not to mention artists like Xtina, Avril and P!nk that were only signed thanks to the Queen's existence.

She has inspired a slew of British artists such as Lily Allen and Marina and the Diamonds and continues to make her mark. People walk onto the stage of talent shows and say they want to be as big as Britney Spears in five years because they know she is a legend and an icon.

I didn't grow up listening to Lady Gaga, she is a newbie in comparison. Britney has remained prominent from my infancy to adulthood.
