he continually refers to being gay as a choice
he feels the need to establish several times that he is NOT gay (he gets a slight pass on this because he's a celebrity and there are special challenges there)
he says hip-hop doesn't need gay rappers...why not? what? if being gay doesn't matter, why shouldn't there be gay rappers
and he suggests a couple times that gay men are cool AS LONG AS THEY'RE NOT HITTING ON YOU. cause all gay men want all straight men, can't control themselves, sex crazed, etc. etc.
I mean, I give him credit for saying that the hip-hop community needs to be more accepting, but I'm not going to "lay off" or "be happy" that he spouted a bunch of stereotypical, non-committal, non-supportive ********. "he's straight and he doesn't know better" isn't an excuse, either. it might be true, but it doesn't mean we should accept what he said a give him a ****ing gold star for it, like
