20 Olly Murs
Right Place Right Time
I don't have much to say about Olly, I just like him and think he's a great performer. This album is pretty good, if I had more time to listen to it, it would probably be higher.
Top 5:
1 Troublemaker
2 Army of Two
3 Right Place Right Time
4 Head To Toe
5 Dear Darlin' |

19 Carrie Underwood
Blown Away
It's not my favorite Carrie Underwood album, but still a solid record. Blown Away (the song) went to become one of my favorite songs by her.
Top 5:
1 Blown Away
2 Good Girl
3 See You Again
4 Two Black Cadillacs
5 Who Are You |

18 Rita Ora
ORA
One of the new artists of the year, Rita Ora failed to impress me with R.I.P. at first (I love this song now), but got me with Hot Right Now and How We Do (Party). Those two songs were enough to make me download her album and not regret doing it. I think she needs to work on her stage presence though, I don't like most of her performances.
Top 5:
1 Radioactive
2 R.I.P.
3 How We Do (Party)
4 Hot Right Now

17 Ke$ha
Warrior
It pains me to place Ke$ha at #17, but unlike Animal + Cannibal (#5 on my 2010 chart), Warrior disappointed me. I had HUGE expectations and was sure Ke$ha would be at my top 10 again this year, but she turned out to be my biggest letdown of 2012. I mean, it's not a bad album, it has some great songs, but I was expecting it to be as amazing and mind-blowing as her previous albums. There are some ok songs, and others that seems to be leftovers from Animal/Cannibal. I hope it grows on me in 2013, because I really like Ke$ha.
Top 5:
1 Die Young
2 Warrior
3 Supernatural
4 C'mon
5 Crazy Kids |

16 The Wanted
The Wanted (Special Edition)
The Wanted debut album in the US is up next. It's a mix with songs from their first two albums plus 2 new songs. A great way to introduce them to the americans, since only their best songs made the tracklist. I think The Wanted is a good boyband, but, as I said for Rita Ora, they need to work on their stage presence. For the record: One Direction wins for me (and for the world ) on the battle of the boybands.
Top 5:
1 Glad You Came
2 Chasing The Sun
3 All Time Low
4 Heart Vacancy
5 Lose My Mind |
Coming soon: You might be surprised with a not-so-popular-here-in-ATRL british female artist who made it to my list.
