some of yall never heard of tlc because yall were still in your dads scrotum when they were freaking EVERYWHERE in 1995. Thats why.
TLC at that point were probably the biggest group in the US at that time, besides the grunge rock groups.Destinys Child were often overshadowed by the likes of NSYNC, and the only song I here recurrently on the radio from DC is Say My Name, and TLC has Waterfalls and No Scrubs and Creep.
So three > one.

TLC. Their music was superior and they had some culturally relevant lyrics, from what I remember (I was never a huge fan of either, though). Destiny's Child appealed more to the GP because of... well... I don't wanna get any WP.
I stanned for them both when I was little but I'd have to say DC, both while they were famous and after they disbanded. You just didn't hear as much about TLC as DC.
