I've essentially been reading Nate and TPM for the majority of the election season. I hate it too, but there are ways to get around it. I wish I had the money to just get a NYT subscription (they're my main source of news).

The final Job Report before the election shows an up-tick of 7.9% from the 7.8% reported last month. Though it's a positive report, it shouldn't have much of an affect on the election for Obama. In other words it won't really gain that much momentum for Obama, but he won't lose anything either and Romney doesn't really have anything negative to say which would indeed be factual. Of course Myth can bend the numbers and try to make something out of nothing and some sheep will probably buy it, but the job report is POSITIVE and a good sign that the economy is, slowly but surely improving.
171,000 jobs created and the up-tick simply showing that more people are officially unemployed meaning they're actually actively job hunting now, which is also good. The report was better than expected.

Me too! I just grab screenshots on my ipad. ![lmao](http://atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/lmao.gif)
I'm mad at all the BS Nate is getting all of a sudden though.
People act like he's delusional when he's predictig the possible outcome based on the polls.
Please God, let the polls be right! ![JonnyϟLightning](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRL_Smilies_All/atrlers/jonny_zpsc73391c5.png)

Didn't he predict 2008 and many of the Mid-Term Elections and was more accurate than any of these so called "polls"?

It's a statistical analysis and he takes into account a lot of factors that may skew polls results.
Besides it's really not just Nate Silver predicting an Obama win. It's virtually everyone except Fox News and Gallup/Rasmussen. Hmmm what do they all have in common?

Yeah a lot of people/sites are predicting Obama winning, but a lot of national polls have them tied. Gallup, is hopefully an outlier.
I'm just focusing on the state polls. As long as he leading in some key swing states I'm fine.

Bulletin: Election day is THIS COMING TUESDAY
If you have not registered by now,you can't vote in this election.
Early voting will be coming to a close in many states TOMORROW.Get to the polls TODAY or TOMORROW if you wish to early vote in this election.
If you can wait in line for an Ipod, some jordans, and your fave's concert tickets, then you damn sure can wait in line to vote.If your state does One Stop-(That means you can register then vote at the same place) see if you can still get that opportunity.
We want to make sure Obama is the person at the oval office on 1/20/2013.Do your part in telling Mitt Romney NO on the 4th (especially you PA voters,as Mittens has recently been looking at your state)

I was scared after the first debate though. Couldn't believe Obama let Romney get away with so many lies. Can't wait for the last polls and then.. I guess we'll have to wait.

Obama is up in New Hampshire:
Quote:
President Obama has opened up a 5-point lead in New Hampshire, according to a new poll released Friday from New England College. Obama sees 49.5 percent while Republican candidate Mitt Romney gets 44.4 percent, a bump up from the 3-point advantage Obama had in the College's previous poll released a week ago. From their analysis:
“The gender gap exists with President Obama maintaining a strong lead among women; while men have a more competitive split between the two candidates,” explains Dr. Ben Tafoya, director of the Polling Center in NEC’s Center for Civic Engagement. “If Governor Romney is going to close the gap on the President he will need to perform significantly better among women.”
The President has strong support from Democrats leads among Independents; while Governor Romney has strong support among Republicans. Mr. Obama holds 95% percent support among Democrats; Mr. Romney holds 89% support among Republicans. In the race for Independent voters in New Hampshire, the President has a 49%-39% edge.

So the states Obama needs to win are basically,
The safe blue states
California (55), Connecticut (7), Delaware (3), Hawaii (4), Illinois(20), Maine (4), Maryland (10), Massachusetts (11), Michigan (16), New Jersey (14), New Mexico (5), New York (29), Oregon (7), Rhode Island (4), Vermont (3), Washington (12), Washington D.C. (3)
and Wisconsin (10) Pennsylvania (20), Ohio. (18) (MUST)
And either one of these: Iowa (6), Colorado (9), Nevada (6), Virginia (13), New Hampshire (4) or Florida (29).
I hope their money is going to OH and PA right now.
