What worthy video did she release last year? Of course some nonsense like "Marry the Night" is going to get snubbed. No big surprises there.

As to whether she's fading: From her once unfathomable heights? Yes, of course. The general public is not going to follow her off the rails on a crazy train. From fame? Not a chance. She still has a very dedicated fan base who is sure to follow her for the rest of her (probably much more modestly successful) career.

We all know that MTV didn't nominate her because she isn't attending. Anybody that says otherwise is living in denial. But then again, those are probably the people that think that 'Firework' was truly the video of the year.

The VMA's last year made no sense. How come Katy is nominated for Best Video With A Message and Best Female Video for Firework and loses, but then wins the overall Video of the Year?
