Though it is a bigger "classic" contender than many albums, I'd say no.
It sort of lacks the composure that would make an album a classic, the freshness and image.
The album did have consistent sales, but it was the singles that made the impact, not the album.
I'd say California Gurls and Firework may become classics. Her other singles didn't create that
huge of a wave, though they did go #1.

No, sis, the singles outperformed other recent artists.
Because she used desperate-measure tactics to push them into the public eye.

Her album sold significantly less than most recent artists when you compare them
in fair timeframes. Obviously she sold more since 2010, but if you compare first-month sales, etc.

My bad, I figured a bunch of Katy stans would understand me.

My point was the album didn't sell phenomenally for having that many "hit singles".
It's barely even in the top 10 for the last few years. The only thing feeding it sales is a bunch of
public tube-fed singles. Not the image, not the freshness of the sound, etc.

Classics are albums that brought something new to the scene and are remembered for it.
i.e. Not Teenage Dream
Let's not pretend it fits either of those criteria.

Perhaps - it depends on her later career. It could end up becoming another Forever Your Girl if she loses popularity and fades in the long run, or it could become a Rhythm Nation 1814 if she remains successful.
