That is very flawed logic...

Just because one song managed to secure huge sales and make the list in an unfavourable time period, it doesn't mean every song will.
It's not Rihanna alone who suffers from this

Most do. Unfortunately IFPI could release a top 100, but don't. So it's useless as a comparing measure.
