Except that wasn't an insult. Can you keep it on the down low because you are really reaching so hard. The album has a ton of samples but the 'sound' isn't everything. He may have used a ton of samples in the album but he used it cleverly. The songs contain deep lyrics about well, maybe his life or the way we live right now.
Dark Fantasy, the first song on the album describes how he is on top and is greatly acknowledged and respected
Gorgeous, the 2nd song on the album is about his life being a celebrity and how beautifully he is living it
Power, in this song, well I think its the positive Price of Fame and what he can do with it
All of the Lights, blinded by fame he struggles to see what is about to come.
Monster, Monster for me looked like he already was imprisoned by fame thus acting like a monster. He becomes an antrocious being thus being feared or being hated by a lot of people
Sp Appalled probably is him mocking the whole entertainment industry. "I mean the **** is ****ing ridiculous."
Devil in a New Dress Still the price of fame and he forgets what he really came here for and starts giving in unconsciously with the temptations of fame
Runaway The song is about really wanting a girl but is afraid to commit something serious
Hell of a Life The song pretty much has the same meaning with 'Devil in a New Dress'. Hell of a Life is just more in depth.
Blame Game I would like to think of it as the song about Amber Rose. How the relationship failed. But I think that the song also describes that for whatever action he did in his life there is him to blame and another one for making him do it.
Lost in the World He is again, ready to face the world yet he still does not know what he has become or what he is now.
Who Will Survive in America is a sample by the late Gil Scott Heron and it fits perfectly with Lost in the World. It actually (along with Lost In The World) wraps up the album's message.
Not tell me the album is not cohesive.
The album also, throughout the whole listen contains Political metaphors.
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy may not be innovative (tho I disagree) in sound,
It's lyrics was still the best words we've heard in albums in a very long time. I can forgive by saying that it's not innovative but saying that it is not that cohesive and that Last Train to Paris is better than MBDTF is blasphemy. You would never compare that album to Kanye's MBDTF. Ever.
