Oh, I'm sorry, I haven't realized Shakira has her deluded stans infecting this board too. The fact is that JLo has a much richer career than Shakira. The bitch tackled every single aspect of show business with success. Acting, music, dancing and everything else that came from that. She can do EVERYTHING. Shakira, on the other hand, can only belly dance and pray to god her next single doesn't flop like She Wolf and every other song off of that album did.
So, yes, I can say this without a doubt, I'm an objective one here.

This is so dumb to be honest, you will never convince any of us that you are right, because we don't agree with you. We know more about Shakira's career than you do, being a J.LO stan. You can't talk on this subject as you don't know **** about Shakira besides the fact that she is latin, and you think J.LO is too even though she speaks worse spanish than I do as a danish person.
Drop it, you see J.LO is losing anyway as in every poll and every track and album chart. Stay bothered and keep telling us why J.LO is so awesome, because judging by the poll, nobody sees it.

Shakira is primarily a musician and a singer. This is her main goal and she has excelled at it.
You say she can "only belly dance" and yet lack the awareness that Shakira is also a skilled songwriter, lyricist, producer, and singer. She had already sold millions of albums before she even delved into dancing.
She's not trying to be a jack of all trades and master of none.
You consider Shakira a flop and yet her last 2 albums outsold Jennifer's.

Shakira is not a sell-out. She doesn't try to make a brand of herself to sell every product possible and get money of of it. Because unlike others, she doesn't have to.
And uh, She Wolf the song, was more successful than any of J.LO's singles that don't feature another artist *cough*
Don't you stan for Lana like myself? How would you feel if she became a sellout like J.LO and made C-rated movies (wow, so successful to make Hollywood C-rated movies!) and became a judge on Idol..

Shakira isn't trying to be an actor. Shakira is musician and singer, and that's why she has justly received 2 Grammy Awards for her albums and 9 Latin Grammy Awards.
Jennifer has no Grammys for her music and she has neither an Oscar nor a Golden Globe for her acting.

By your logic then...
Jlo is Giving away that career to the other girls, so effortlessly. All those others have had more successful careers in their respected trade.
1.) Eva's and Michelle's career have had more triumph over Jlo's b-Movie status.
2.) Enrique has been equal to Jlo so bleh.
3.) Shakira has more WW hits, more album sales, successful 100 Million + tours, and her dreadful acting skills on her hit telenovela "El Oasis" still outshine Jenni's best performance on "Enough."

Recently, Jen named VH1's 16th greatest female artist of all time. Shakira didn't even make the top 20. We'll see if Shakira will have a worldwide hit like OTF after the age of 40 y o or #1 US single or album.

Actors dont have to win oscars to prove themselves. They hardly win, depends on the movie per se. She has done pretty much every movie genre. from action to comedy to drama etc. She can carry on in a movie.
and Grammys dont prove talents as well
also JLo is a better, powerfull and more vesatile dancer than Shakira.

You know she doesn't deserve being at 16, come on. I don't even believe you. I can name 50 female artists better and more influential than J.LO.
