I have receipts for mine, and you know Katy's singles sell very well. It's not that hard to believe she has sold sixty million singles WW. Don't go off-topic. Bye.

It is kind of hard considering that she is LOCAL. This thread is about Rihanna and Katy's sales, so I'm not going off-topic, actually. BYE.

She isn't local, and your not? Why are we talking about things I have said in the past about RECORD sales when this is about album sales? BYE. Do I need to show you receipts AGAIN?

that plaque they gave Rihanna proves the album sales for her first three albums.
y'all are going to say she sold an extra million copies of Music Of The Sun these past few years?

Music of the Sun sold 800k with the US and the UK alone so its sales could be anywhere between 1 and 2 million.
A Girl Like Me was reported to have 3.5 million last year, BYE.
Good Girl Gone Bad hit 8 million 2 years ago according to decade-end charts, and it's STILL selling both in Europe (UK especially) and the US, so obviously it's closer to 9 million.
Rated R has hit 3 million, those are lies.
Loud passed 6 million last September.
Anymore questions?

So by your logic, if Rihanna changed her name to Robyn, all her previous albums wouldn't count?

I mean, but it's still the same person though. Rihanna has a different persona every era & yet all her albums released are still counted as hers. You are trying to grasp for something that isn't there Sis. Maybe you should dumb it down, because you make no sense whatsoever.

It's the same person, girl. Not 2 different people.
While we're at it, we should include (A) Katy Perry. 4 albums, 8 million in record sales. A star.

Where is 2.6M for TTT coming from?
Someone compared the UWC sales of TTT and LOUD this week - TTT is at 2M while LOUD had done 2.8M by this point in its run.

With TD, Capitol really invested in her era. They treated her like royalty. Def Jam gives Rihanna hits but dumps album after album without really nurturing the era.
But at 23 Rihanna is showing more signs of maturity (just listen to Take Care) and longevity than Katy is at 27, not to mention more international appeal. We'll see how things turn out but I think Rihanna will keep her crown

Talk That Talk sold 1.7 million in 2011 alone.

Loud sold over 6.2 million copies worldwide and hit #1 in six international territories – bringing Rihanna’s total album sales to more than 30 million. She has also logged a phenomenal 100 million digital song sales, a number that is still growing every day.

Do you really think that GGGB sold 1M since it's not charted anymore? MMOTS was a biggest flop outside the US and UK, it didn't sold 700K without those 2 countries, Rated R didn't reach the 3M mark, Loud didn't reach the 6M, stop tampering the sales and being delusional the only real sales that you're right are AGLM's sales.

So what if Katy is local? How does that change the fact that her first two albums have outsold Rihannas first two or change your answer to this question?

LABELS USE SHIPMENTS AS SALES TO MAKE THEM SEEM BIGGER!
Example, "Back To Basics", "Born Ths Way" and even Katy's "One Of The Boys"
there was a press release going around that "One Of The Boys" had sold 5 million WW
doesn't make it true.
