I agree with this. Base needs to be just for Artist threads ONLY, just like Ukmix's General Artist Discussion. All of the other assorted crap can go elsewhere.
And the only problem that I have is the album threads being closed after a few weeks, as for me personally it diminshes the sense of an album era, but otherwise I'll get used to everything else in time.
