Umbrella is pretty iconic, but that's about it. Rihanna's success is so paradoxical. She's famous and has 11 #1 hits, yet people don't seem to care too much about her. :/

Ooooh...
Rihanna's a tough one...
It stands without a doubt that this woman keeps up her single-game with constant #1's, but she lacks longevity with those singles, although they smash for the week or two they happen to be out. And only recently has she been able to make an album with consistency ('TTT'), even though it stands as her 6th try.
I say "No", but perhaps in time... A long time.

That shouldnot be an achievement you list when you're trying to define an icon. ![shake no](images/smilies/images/smilies/shakeno.gif)

only time will tell ![yoda](images/smilies/images/smilies/yoda.gif)

Rihanna
Mainly no.
She's had her moments (Umbrella), but that's about it.

Sorry, but it's one of the thing's she and Chris are definitely known for.
You could escape their music, but that story was EVERYWHERE.

Not that anything's iconic about her but It's the moment most memorable in her career, it deserves a mention.
