Of course Beyonce doesn't match MJ in iconic moments as of right now. We have to wait a few more years to compare them on that level.

Thank you!! The point of this thread was to discuss her ability as a performer relative to michael's, not to compare the memorability of her performances with Michael jackson's lifetime career of performances.

Beyonce has plenty of Iconic worthy performances... only time will tell which ones will be cemented in the history books.

Well the way I see it, if we're going back to only PERFORMANCE comparisons, Beyonce in every bit as good as Michael.

She has an advantage with the vocals, but Micheal has an advantage with the dancing. They cancel each other out so are therefore ON PAR.

He isn't remembered for his vocals as much as he is remembered for his dancing, but he also has an advantage with his vocals.

Well, I don't think Michael's voice is really that lower than Beyonce's. They both have great voices, but I'm sure she may be able to go a little bit higher than him. His dancing and stage performance is out of this world, though.
