I can confirm as a true Wayne fan it isnt quite as good as Carter III bc Carter III was just a classic legendary album even Wayne said he doesnt expect to ever top a CD like that... But to say its a "bad" album i will fight anyone tooth and nail to argue that !!!!

This album is filled with many great songs with great lyrics and beats !!!! there are a couple of "normal" songs that arent that special but most of the tracks have amazing lyrics and beats.,,

i guess it all depends on peoples tastes !! i personally take Beats and Lyrics over anything

I haven't liked a Wayne album since Tha Carter II... but I liked III as a pop album as opposed to a rap album. IV is just awful. The only songs I like are the features. The best song doesn't even have Wayne rapping.

Lil Wayne's selling power is astonishing in the US. I hope it holds up well. Everyone makes out TC3 to be extremely frontloaded. It may have opened with a third of it's total sales in the end, but it sold 3 million no matter what & spent like 15 weeks in the the Top 10 (all the way into October). His albums usually have good longetivity that's respectable. I have yet to see an extremely frontloaded album come from him.
