-The ones who make videos for every song possible on their album
-The ones who relases 5, 6, or 7 singles
-The ones who release the most commercial tracks for singles, depsite knowing there is better and more critical tracks on their album
-The ones who discount
-The ones who remix
-The ones who go on every major TV show possible within a 2 weeks span to flog their newest single
-The ones who team up with major department stores to promote their album
-The ones who tweet AND Facebook about their song/album charting
-The ones who releases multiple songs to multiple formats
In the end, each and every one of them CARE.
THIS. If none of our faves cared they wouldnt be promoting at all. Jealousy.
And let's not, if doing a remix means you care about #1's what about Beyonce filming a music video for every B'day song and always rereleasing albums? Plus she put Gaga on the video phone remix. Hypocrites.
And Gaga, Adele, Beyonce, etc. are not here for the charts? Rihanna was not here for the charts with Rated R, done the artistic album with massive critical acclaim already.
Quote:
“Forget all of the record sales, forget all the tryna compete or tryna outdo yourself! You should be doing it just because you LOVE it” - Year Of 4,Beyoncé
She was here for the charts at one point, not anymore.
I'm pretty sure Beyoncé has made it very clear that topping the Hot 100 is at the bottom of her list. Not only has she done it 9 times already but she's spent over 37 weeks at the top with her solo efforts alone, it's an easy thing for her to do, and if she wanted 20 of them she could get them by making radio ready bangers, but that would ruin her name, her image, and her legacy. Those are the things we are concerned about at this point, I really hope you and the stans can get their one day before its too late.
I see no chart stalking. Just Katy telling Rihanna she thinks Cheers will hit #1. Some of you people read FAR too much into these little irrelevant things.
Alot of other stans, due to the fact that Rihanna's succeeding alot right now, they feel the need to inflate & exaggerate everything, and it just sounds SO delusional... now all of of a sudden she's having success because she's hammering her fans to support her? If that's the case, what happened the 4 albums BEFORE LOUD?
Her metascores are great for a popstar, she gets acclaim by many peers and legends, her tours are critically acclaimed, if you are here just to troll without nothing **** if I were you I'd live
Rihanna has no acclaim but Rated R don't boast her up to be more than that and I don't have to troll ~ she isn't worth the warning point nor does she have anything to troll about. Ki.

And let's not act like popstars (or their label) don't make money out of singles.
to sell 2 millions singles at 1,29$ is like to sell 184K albums at 13,99$. Maths never lie
And let's not, if doing a remix means you care about #1's what about Beyonce filming a music video for every B'day song and always rereleasing albums? Plus she put Gaga on the video phone remix. Hypocrites.
Correct but the remix was released as the official single...
Gurl Bey can still pop dat *****, and much better than that crispy one too. She's just not in that mind frame right now, and isn't wrapped around the charts like a Katy Perry and friend
She RETWEETS and celebrates when her fans say it jumped a spot or something, no one has ever seen her say anything about the Cheers position, those tweets she retweets are among the hundread of others she retweets because of the connection she has with her fans
First of all I never called her a singles artist, and you can't call Beyonce anything since she has sold over 60 million albums in her career. And you don't know what Beyonces 3rd or 4th single will do for her album or her charting so save the predictions. Many did that with B'Day and Irreplaceable spent 10 weeks at the top easily.
But we all know that there is no Irreplaceable on 4. It's good to have big hopes for your faves but when you are at a point when u can see that things and times have CHANGED.
And let's not, if doing a remix means you care about #1's what about Beyonce filming a music video for every B'day song and always rereleasing albums? Plus she put Gaga on the video phone remix. Hypocrites.
They did it because they were friends and because of the Telephone collaboration not because they wanted it to go to #1 and we all know S&M was a quick cheap remix that didn't mean anything so let's not and say we did.
Why is it that now Bey is having a flop era sales are suddenly irrelevant and if you are doing great on the charts you are deemed a chart stalker? I don't understand.
