No, but it's much more easier to get addicted to drugs such as cocaine and heroine than getting addicted to alcohol from drinking beer or wine.

This is why you can't pretend like there aren't any distinctions between drugs. They exist on a spectrum, one which includes alcohol, which has a greater potential for addiction/abuse than pot.

More people die each year from Alcohol than cocaine or heroine.

People get addicted to alcohol because they drink too much alcohol. NORMAL people drink alcohol at events, as I mentioned earlier, and it's near impossible to get addicted to alcohol if you drink it in a while.
While with drugs, it differes from person to another. One can get addicted from the smallest amount while another person will not get addicted from twice the amount the first person took.
I'm not saying alcohol is better than drugs, but the thing is, it's much easier to control your addiction on alcohol than it is on drugs, because when you drink alcohol at an event, you probably won't feel the need to drink again constantly like it is with drugs.

You're completely delusional. Why are you letting the government dictate what is RIGHT AND WRONG?
Ok, here's a good example.
Do you think it's MORALLY WRONG for 16 year olds to drink alcohol in America? (the drinking age is 21)
Do you think it's MORALLY ACCEPTABLE for 16 year olds to drink alcohol in Italy? (the drinking age is 16).
Note, morals = right and wrong. They have to do with your conscious, not with laws. Laws are made by human beings, not God.

Personal account here, kids. I smoke pot. I rarely drink. I don't do anything else.
Apparently, I'm the messiah.

It's the easiest drug to sway on and off from.
Unless of course you're buying grams of it each day. Which will obviously provoke mental issues.

I do agree, however, for those who do legal and illegal substances, that always tends to be the first go-to response: "Alcohol and cigarettes are more addictive. Weed doesn't do as much damage." This is the wrong type of thinking. Everyone reacts differently, and you do not know how you will react to any type of drug. If you're lucky, you may survive the first time, but you may also easily become addicted, without even realizing, until you're too deep within the addiction. For instance, how long has it been since you've been engaged with using these substances? One, three, six years? Why would you need to continue use after such a prolonged period of time, even if just occasionally? These are questions one should be asking themselves.

Honestly, I would say you are better off avoiding them all together if you can, but, again, I would say the exact same for alcohol. Everything you said applies to that as well, people end up drinking themselves in to a stupor for decades before giving out.
At the same time, I have no patience for hypocritical distinctions that lack a meaningful basis beyond social stigma.

I still smoke pot regularly. I have bad anxiety and it helps. It also helps me with my creativity, which is important since I'm a writer. I've tried other harder drugs but ive gotten what I needed from them so I don't do them as much (only if they're right there, never seek them out).

So wait, this whole time you've been talking specifically about pot, or drugs in general?
Because I wasn't referring to drugs, I was referring to "heavier" and more "dangerous" drugs like heroine and cocaine.

So, what are your thoughts on this subject? Do you like drugs? Do you think they're cool?
Discuss with wisdom and respect.
FYI: NO ARTIST DISCUSSION.

No, I don't like any type of drugs, not even Marijuana. They don't contribute anything really good. People enjoy the "fun" of it, but really it's stupid, pointless, and ends up hurting people in the end.

Drugs are fine, depending on your personality. Some people are just unbearable on drugs.
From personal experience, I enjoy drugs (good ol' MJ on a regular basis, ecstasy once in a blue moon, mushrooms only on verrry special occasions), though I'd never recommend anyone do them, just 'cause I've inadvertently gotten people started on drugs that they got hooked on.

- I love drugs.
- Drugs are awesome.
- I smoke weed everyday. (not to be cool)
- I barely drink, only special occasions.
Drinking to get drunk is worse in my opinion than doing a line of coke.
- I hate the term "gate-way drug" as in like its an exit off to another high way of highness?
If you do a drug its your choice, if you decide to try another drug, also your choice.
Doing one drug has nothing to do with another drug, especially uppers vs. downers.
- I hate people who say "I've never done weed"
- I have tried other drugs, more than once.
They aren't that bad, but way to draining to do everyday.
- Some people like to have fun and live a little.
Some people rather sit back and say their stupid for doing drugs.
You are just scared to try new things.
- But I always wanted to be the informed parent.
I want to tell my kids why I chose not to do those drugs after one (or more) times.
- + I will quit smoking weed before I have children..
If you're looking for a good time try :
- MDMA
- Weed
- Mushrooms

I decided that going out, partying every week, taking drugs and ending up in hospital wasn't good.
So I didn't go out for a while. I was addicted to the party life / drugs though.
Haven't done those things in years. My teenage years of trying drugs was extreme, but it's pretty normal.
I'm not talking about heroin or any of those kind of drugs. That's too much
