I am here for Foo Fighters, Adele, The Strokes, Lykke Li, and Gaga making this list. They all deserve it.
What bothers me the most about these lists is the fact that they try so hard to be as indie as possible. I haven't heard of alot of the artists on this list, which is completely fine. But it would help to give every artist a fair chance.
Where are the R&B albums? Where are the people whose albums have actually been purchased? Where is F.A.M.E? Where is 4? This list is ****ing pits. Who is responsible for this and why was it approved? And no they didn't forget Femme Fatale. Only MTV is here for the the generics.
The comments about only having heard 1 or 2 albums off that list is a bit sad. I've listened to 10 of those albums and a few of those 10 are my favorites of the year (Bon Iver, The Strokes, etc.). I also plan on listening to the rest of them because I enjoy finding new artists. You girls should really try branching out from just mainstream pop music.
But really Lykke Li & The Weeknd albums were good.
The list is forcing the indie movement though.
Agreed. Not that there is anything wrong with it, but it would be nice to see more mainstream albums.

That's what I've been trying to say for months now! While there are many members here that will listen to any and every genre, most will only listen to mainstream pop. If everybody here would step outside of their comfort zone in terms of genres, and give a few "underground" artists a chance, I think that they would appreciate diverse musical tastes more.
I thought the album was getting pretty solid reviews, but a 49?! Ch, what an unfortunate mess. If this album is getting a 49, what the hell do they expect? Comical.

49 is her career average, 46 is the score for Love?
