Were people expecting Rihanna to release a "Pon De Replay" video for "Man Down"? A 20-minute long romantic mini-film in Spanish? Random clips of animals ****ing? I mean, it's a song about murdering somebody - obviously the video is going to fit the song. I personally think it is the best video thus far during the LOUD era, and she did NOT overhype it at all. If people are disappointed, that is their problem.
