She isn't overrated, as she is a brilliant singer, but 21 is an incredibly overrated album. 19 is a much better effort. To me she just doesn't have a 'sound'. She is soul, but there's nothing about her music that screams ADELE!! 19 was a different matter. You hear Chasing Pavements, you automatically know it is her.
It upsets me when people call 21 the 'Grammy-front-runner', especially against masterpieces such as MDTF. I mean, I don't enjoy rap, but I can listen to the album and recognise it as real quality.
2nd and 4th option. I would say she's underrated but she truly is getting massive amounts of critical acclaim so it's sort of hard to top that. The pressed will just have to deal, as Adele is the only artist that I don't understand why people wouldn't like.
