47% of the country didn't vote
But a 75% of the population is complaining about Trump's win
Something doesn't add up
You ****ed up your own country
(It ain't my fault)
I abstained because I did not feel I had the insight and conviction to make an informed decision, rather than voting based on emotion/fear or ignorance.
You all are not mad at people for exercising their rights. You're mad that these people didn't go out and vote for HILLARY.
Would you have been more upset if the majority of these non-voters decided to go out and vote for Trump?
Im sorry but your excuse doesnt hold water one bit. You had months to educate yourself and make an informed decision. You chose not to.
thats not on par. Each .3% is like a million votes. Now if you consider that our population is growing every year...it looks even worse. Democrats know that if turnout is too low they will lose. They need to convey this message to their voters. Black people if you don't want to be brutalized by police youre going to have to vote even if you don't really want to. Politicians cater to those who vote. Why should a politician cater to your cause if you couldn't be bothered to vote. There should be 100% black turnout. People understand things you tell them in lamens terms rather than sugar coating the issues.
This is what i don't get, how tje **** were so relatively few voting in such an important election? Were both that hated? Everywhere i see online praising Hillary, but for example soo many afroamericans didn't vote, is that because it's on a tuesday and you dont get payed from your job? Former prisoners not able to vote?
They really should make the election day a national holiday, or have it on a sunday at least like here.
And also if so many democrat voters didn't want Hillary, why disn't they put their vote on Jill Klein? This was the perfect time to break the two party system and she's perfect with no skeletons in her closet
I feel like a lot of people didn't bother to vote because social media kept pushing the 'they're both as bad as the other' view. people didn't know who to vote for, even though one was clearly more deserving than the other.
If ppl decide to not vote based off of social media, then **** them just the same tbh
