Do you ridicule every black person who has ever held their hand across their chest and sung the National Anthem?
1814. For over 200 years billions of people have heard and sung Star-Spangled Banner with different meaning each time. Whether it's for pride in country or respect for the dead. These minor issues from years and years ago shouldn't affect and become something discriminatory when many people have lived their lives perfectly well having not read the info in the OP.
It wasn't racist yesterday, but it is today. Because..? Someone said it is? It's a
National Anthem. It bears deeper meaning.
