Kelis - Flesh Tone
Although it's one of the biggest flops this year, Flesh Tone is without question a masterpiece. A brave and bold step into a completely different direction for Kelis, she headed down the dance route and away from her Hip Hop/RnB roots. Did it pay off? That depends on how you look at it. On one hand, she created one of the best albums of '10, a true and consistent masterpiece, and a fifth consecutive critically-acclaimed album. On the other, she opened with 9k and quickly dropped from the Hot 200 altogether. She also lost a lot of her original fanbase, and she didn't even get a hit from the era (in the US). However, Flesh Tone firmly remains my favourite Kelis album, and I hope we get at least another dance masterpiece from her

Like I already said, my top 7 was hard to decide, but I love each album. Yes, Rihanna releases like an album a year, but if the music is consistently good, whats the problem?Anyways, I'm glad she is over her dark phase and this album is exactly what she promised us; no filler at all 
The additional 10 songs she added onto the re-release are all brilliant, a lot of the songs are even stronger than the original Turn It Up album. I'm not going to go into depth talking about this album cos I could talk about Pixie all day, if I get into it I'll end up writing an essay. Queen 
Excellent work of the producers capturing rather modern european electronic.
