Surprised to see Justin Bieber on a mature list like mine? Blame that face. I don't normally like kids but he's just too cute and this is a pretty alright song. Jaden's smith is laughable but passable.
I was honestly so disappointed when I first heard this. It sounded a lot like Lil Mama's Lip Gloss and had none of the magical qualities of Mariah's previous Christmas songs. Nevertheless, it was catchy and I had no heart to turn it away from the top 30.
David Archuleta, someone I used to really, really love. I was expecting a far more mature follow-up to his lame debut but I didn't get that. But I did love the direction he took and this song's innocence just makes me smile.
Kris Allen, the former American Idol, makes a surprise appearance at #8. I'm really not surprised - I found his debut album to be incredibly catchy and filled with character. Now I'm not saying it's an amazing album, but there were a handful of songs that really caught my ear. And of course I had to give Kris a spot after seeing him in concert and touching his abs. And getting an autograph and a shout-out. So yeah, Kris thank your abs for this spot.
