sis, there was no massive promotion at all. The albums were left standing on their own pretty much, differently from perry and beyonce.

And i'm not shocked at all because RS seems to not like Rihanna, she has never been on the cover while Katy Perry, Gaga (twice this year), etc. all have been. That in 5 years of her career she has never been on their cover despite the kind of success she had speaks for itself (i would say racism but I won't ).

Well I won't say it's racism. I guess they just think that black singers don't sell covers as much as white singers. Same way Gaga and Britney have more covers than Beyoncé and Alicia Keys. It has nothing to do with the fact that they don't like her, she is on their all time list; They just don't feel that anything she releases this year is good enough to be there.


Glad to see the success of Ye on this chart, and I'm also glad they mentionned "I'm not afraid", I like that song. Not unpar with Em's better work but stilll average(the same can't be said about the rest of his album).
