Loving the album. I like all the tracks but Stronger, Tell Me, Make U A Believer, Down Time and Need U are the one's I've been replaying a lot. Only track I don't like is Champions, while Hard II Love and Missin U are the one's I think are just okay. Very high quality album.
Glad he hopped off of that Pharrell bandwagon from 2014. I didn't mind the sound but it was so clear that he was following the trend there, a trend that became droning very quickly.
Even the Pharrell track from this record feels fresh compared to the stuff from 2 years ago.
I mean... it's not a bad album, but it's mediocre at best
Usher is more talented in all aspects than 99% of the currently active mainstream artists, so I REALLY want him to reinvent himself. The album is fine but it has nothing I haven't heard from him (or basically every r&b artist) before. That intro to Missin U especially made me cringe. Leave the "fat ass / thin waist" talk to the rookies, man. Come on
