Out of her last 3 albums,

Speak Now - 14 songs, only 2 "slams" (Dear John + Better Than Revenge)

Red - 16 songs, only... 2? Slams (WANEGBT and MAYBE IKYWT but she accepts fault on that so)

1989 - 13 songs, 1 slam (Bad Blood, which is pathetic and generic anyway)


So that's about 5 "slam" songs out of 43 from the past 3 albums.

The other 38 songs that don't slam people are more than worthy of being praised for her genuine ability to turn real life situations - whether they are her experiences or the experiences of others around her - into songs that are universally relatable.

Stop with the trolling, ATRL user RoarRiteNow1! The Emmys didn't expose anything. We knew since day 1 how much input Gaga had lyrically and how much input into rearranging the song. Nobody claimed she wrote the whole song. Even she said Diane went to her with the lyrics already written and she changed some here and there but she rearranged the whole song. Is that hard to understand? And by the way, Gaga doesn't need you to consider her a good songwriter, she has the awards and the acclaim that sustain that. News flash: she couldn't care less what a Katy Perry fan has to say about songwriting.
