It's #98 on World Music at Amazon.co.uk, it was at #300 and then went up to #180 and now it's racing up the charts, like how? I didn't think Tiziano had that many fans in the UK.
The meeting is happening right now and I am so ****ing jealous, I hope that we'll hear the previews tonight or tomorrow afternoon. It looks to be an amazing album!
Sorry for my constant posting but it turns out that the date for Il Mestiere Della Vita's digital release has now been changed from the 2nd of December to the 3rd for Australia and New Zealand.
Why would they do that though, I was looking forward to hearing the snippets, I think it's because Tiziano is from Italy and they want Italians and other countries in Europe to get it first, it is a good idea, but it means we have to wait another 12 hours (11 for me as I'll get it at 12am Central European Time rather than 12am GMT).
OK after reading Citazioni di Tiziano Ferro's post on Facebook about the new songs, I am convinced that this will be an amazing album, the description of Casa è vuota stands out for me, it's an angry song and apparently there's some words in there that took them by surprise seeing as how angry the song must be, so I cannot wait to hear Tiziano cursing, that's what I was always looking for, dirty Tiziano has returned.
It does all sound very promising. Though not everyone is as positive. Especially the more "basic" fans (the ones that only like emotional songs) seem kinda put off by the hip hop and beats.
But they don't seem like his fans do they, if they're complaining about the album not having many ballads? At the end of the day it's Tiziano 2.0, I love Tiziano's ballads and by the way, the reason he didn't play Il conforto is because it's the new single!
"Casa è vuota". Canzone cazzutissima e incazzatissima. Una serie di frasi mi hanno messo k.o. perché si collegavano alla perfezione con un tragico evento che ha segnato la mia vita da bambino.
Una fuga di gas con annesso incendio della casa, sono scoppiato a piangere.
Quote:
"Home is empty". A badass song and really angry. A series of phrases I was put in a knock out because they connected perfectly with a tragic event that marked my childhood life.
A gas leak with adjoining house fire, I started crying.
I'm waiting with bated breath to hear your filthy mouth Tiziano!
Kworb, why do albums in the Italian language that have explicit language in songs not have a red E mark on iTunes, Baby K's Una seria didn't, although it had a Parental Advisory Explicit Content label on the back of Una seria's physical copies, but Marracash's did have a red E on iTunes, do you think Tiziano's swearing will be bleeped in the new album? I mean he has said stuff like the f word, the s word and b*****d before, so why would this time be any different? I hope it's all kept uncensored.
It's probably more based on the theme and not so much the words. I don't think Italians care that much about their kids hearing words like vaffanculo, merda, cazzo, etc. It's religious profanity that is most frowned upon there and I doubt Tiziano would ever use that.
