You're allowed to be weak when you're first starting out. It's neat to have a great debut but no one's expecting high quality on your first go. Sometimes having a great debut can be a curse because people will expect you to keep making said album over and over and will not allow you to move on/grow.
Dangerously In Love was still good. I feel like people are only dissing it because it's filled with R&B tracks and no other genres that people can relate to since everyone stan for different genres here.
I'd say Carrie Underwood's 'Some Hearts' was fairly poorly done and had a lot of filler and songs that Carrie wasn't comfortable singing, and then 'Carnival Ride' was released and a lot of her fans state that's the closest album Carrie has to be considered a classic in the future.
