There's literally nothing nothing nothing worse than the Black Eyed Peas / LMFAO years. Radio was absolutely unbearable then and almost everything was unlistenable, minus a few pop girls who were kind of delivering. But even in their case, other than Beyonce's 4, I can't name a popgirl who released her best work during those years.

What? What about TD, TFM, FF, LOUD and Animal (just to name a few) were all huge that time and made mainstream really fun and diversed.

Well of course you would be bored with music when you only look at the Billboard 200 to get your new music. The new releases the last months were EVERYTHING. Especially the alternative music scene.

And with alternative I don't mean UK rockbands or weird whatevers, I talk about alternative pop music like Ladyhawke, Tegan & Sara, Foxes, Satin Jackets, Fickle Friends, Classixx, Niki & The Dove, Låpsley, FM-84 and so many more.

The major releases this year were high-end too. Anti, TLOP and Lemonade alone are 10's.
