I really don't like Janelle. She opened for Katy Perry in Vancouver. It did not fit the audience Katy had brought it. What part of the song is she even on?

LOL That's not necessary bad.
I'm pissed they didn't let her shine. It looks like she only sings background vocals which are totally overshadowed by the "na na na"s.

I'm definitely pleasantly surprised by this bit of news. An excellent and very deserving number one!

Not only that, but his adds date is next Tuesday!
So he'll have (a little) more radio power behind him by the time Wednesday comes around.

I mean I know that but I'm curious why her airplay numbers are way off compared to other songs. WAY's Nielson BDS numbers are only 2 million off from Mediabase numbers. And even SFTTR was only 10 million off. Why are Stronger's numbers 15 million off? I guess nobody really knows how Nielson calculates their numbers but it still puts her at more of a disadvantage than the rest.

the only real conclusion i can think of is that Nielsen monitors less stations that Mediabase

Dance-pop is steadily moving out of the top 10 and making way for fresher sounds. I hope this continues.

I hope Indie rock /pop becomes popular. It's a completely new wave in mainstream music. Then R&B and Hip Hop can take over again.

If SFTTR is at #4, I'm fine with that. Kelly doesn't annoy me.

I wanted another week for Kelly but WAY deserves it. Watch it being one of the biggest songs of the year.
I'm so happy with the top 3.

SFTTR's AI has been off by about 14-15 pts for a couple weeks now. When we had 160, BDS had it at 146.
I think it's always the case with big numbers.
